In order to process payroll in a timely and efficient manner, it is necessary for us to have a  properly completed time card.  It is the employee’s responsibility to provide PBSI with a completed time card.

 

1.  Blank time cards are issued with an employee's paycheck / notice of deposit.


2.  All the information MUST be completed in order to process a time card.


3.  A copy of the time card must be faxed to PBSI on Friday of each week.
Time cards will not be accepted after 12:00 noon on Monday.  If we do not receive your faxed timecard by then you will not be paid until the following week.  PBSI strongly recommends calling our office to ensure your fax was received.


4.  Original, signed timecards must be in the office by the end of the day on the following Friday. Once we receive your original, we will mail your Notice of Deposit and a new blank timecard.  If we do not receive your original time card, by Friday at 5:00PM, (one week from when you faxed the original) then you will not receive another pay until we receive the original. There will be no exceptions and there may be no advanced warning that you will not be receiving your pay.

 

5.  An employee is only paid for hours worked.  There will be no compensation for lunch breaks.

 

6.  All timecards must be signed by a supervisor.


7.  The time card has three copies:

White:  Return this copy to PBSI

Yellow:  Given to your supervisor

Pink:  For your records (please keep them, because we cannot reissue timecards)
