You will know PBSI Recommended Direct Hire Candidates are competent in the following areas, before you hire them, before they come in for an interview, even before you read their resumes:

They have the medical billing experience you are looking for.  How can you know this before looking at their resumes?  Because PBSI will only recommend candidates that have passed a series of tests designed to ensure they have the skills and experience needed to do the job. Tests cover the following areas:  Customer Service, Appointment Scheduling, Check In/Check out, Patient Registration, Charge Entry, Claim Submission, Payment Posting, A/R Follow Up, Claims Submission and Medical Terminology. 

They have already gone through the “First Interview.”  PBSI thoroughly interviews  applicants to find out more about their professionalism, work ethic, and desire to learn and grow.  We know if they have the customer service skills needed for the front desk, or the perseverance needed for an A/R position.  We know what type of position they are looking for and the salary they require.  We make recommendations based on what we learn from the candidates when they spend time with a PBSI interviewer.

They have solid professional references.  Anyone who has tried to do references on a potential hire knows how difficult it can be.
