PBSI will provide you with more than just a resume.  We have an extensive screening process designed exclusively to discover a candidate's level of experience in the medical billing field.

Testing.  It doesn’t have to be a shot in the dark when it comes to how much knowledge a potential hire has.  PBSI has numerous assessments that we give to each experienced applicant based on their past experience.  The tests include:  Customer Service, Appointment Scheduling, Check In/Check Out / Reception, Patient Registration, Charge Entry, Claim Submission, Payment Posting, Junior A/R Follow Up, Senior A/R Follow Up, Medical Terminology and Claims Processing.  If they don’t pass these tests, we won’t place them without additional training. 

Interviewing.  All candidates are screened by our expert recruiters through a behavioral based interview process.    We ask detailed questions designed to reveal goal orientation, flexibility, ability to handle pressure, work ethic, and team interaction.  We know if they have the customer service skills needed for the front desk, or the perseverance needed for an A/R position.  We know what type of position they are looking for and the salary they require.  PBSI can save you a lot of time, effort, and money by providing the information that you can’t find on a resume. 

Reference Checks.  At least two positive, professional references are obtained on each candidate.  You won't have to be leaving message after message with previous supervisors, days of phone tag, faxing employment verification forms . . . we’ll do it for you!
