PBSI assesses candidates throughout the entire training period. If a
candidate fails to meet the standards of PBSI, he of she will not represent PBSI
on an assignment. Candidates are evaluated on criteria including, but not
limited to, the following:
- Punctuality: The first day of training begins at 8:00 AM.
Thereafter, class will begin at 8:30 AM. We expect candidates to be
prompt. If anyone is late during the week, they will not continue
with training.
- Business Attire: Professional work attire is required during the
training program. We understand that in today's business world, the
definition of "professional attire" can vary from company to
company. If clarification as to our expectations is needed, please
call PBSI. Anyone who is not appropriately dressed for an interview
or for training, will be asked to leave.
- Positive Attitude: A positive attitude goes a long way! PBSI
looks for candidates that demonstrate enthusiasm, motivation, and
eagerness to learn. Displaying these traits during your interview or
in training shows a sincere desire to work in a position that will provide
opportunities to learn and advance in the field.
- Professionalism: PBSI expects training participants to exhibit the
highest level of professionalism both in class and on the job. We
expect our employees to be courteous, conscientious, and
considerate. Listening skills and accepting constructive criticism
are important as well.
- Flexibility: Once a candidate
successfully completes the training program, the staff of PBSI works very
hard to place them in a position. Since the locations of available position
vary, the ideal candidate is flexible and immediately available for
placement.
- Commitment: All training participants are expected to make a
commitment on three levels: First, to his or her success in a new
field; second, to work for PBSI upon completion of training; and third, to
the client with whom you are placed. Because of this commitment, we require that before ending any assignment, for any reason, we receive
at least a two week notice.
- Career Goals: PBSI is built on the reputations of our past and present associates. Because of our
selection and evaluation process, we can ensure that every associate of
PBSI will be of the standard on which our reputation is based.
