Many of our clients prefer to select employees from our pool of “trained candidates.” What can a trained candidate offer your organization? Hiring trained associates from PBSI will give you the opportunity to have an employee come into your organization with a clean slate and a good foundation on which to build his or her career. We know that our class candidates are serious about starting a career in medical billing because they have gone through a full week of training, without financial compensation. PBSI’s training program is built on the foundation that medical billing is done most effectively by those who are familiar with the entire billing process - from appointment scheduling to follow up. When you hire associates out of our training class, you can be confident that they have the background information needed to enable them to be quickly productive in your environment. There are other benefits to hiring a class candidate as well. We consider our training program to be a five-day evaluation period. This will give us the opportunity to observe a candidate's "soft-skills," including:
Dependability and Reliability – All candidates must attend every day of training and must be on time each day – or they don’t continue with class.
Professionalism – Candidates are expected to dress professionally for the entire week of training and to conduct themselves in a professional manner - or they don't continue with class.
Willingness to Learn – PBSI wants to provide you with candidates that are eager to learn and grow in the healthcare field. We evaluate their ability to accept constructive criticism and include an exit interview at the end of the week so the trainer can provide valuable feedback to each associate and to our clients.
If a candidate does not meet PBSI’s standards, we
will not place him or her in a position.
